Sir,

With reference to my despatch No.320 of the

16th of October, 1920, I have the honour to enclose copies

of a draft "Memorandum of Information with regard to

Hongkong Police Probationers" paragraphs 6 to 14 of which

might be embodied in the Colonial Office print which is

issued to candidates.

2. I should be glad if the statements in this draft which concern the other police services referred to, and the arrangements with regard to applications and examinatione in England, might be revised to suit present conditions and if a copy of the draft, so amended, might

be returned to me.
